HER NAME IS SWAPNA

Its been 17 years, but I still remember her name and all the memories about her and my 7th std school days. As i dedicated my previous article for my fav teacher, in this blog I am going to write about a girl who grabbed my attention in my school.

I am writing this blog in 5 chapters, please do have some patience to read, I am sure you won't get bored.

                                                     CHAPTER 1- SWAPNA

She was the second most beautiful girl in my school after my fav teacher, initially I didn't give attention towards her, but one fine Wednesday when she came in color dress, she was looking completely different, I was confused for a min, that is she the same girl!! From that day, it all started. She was silent, and intelligent in studies, her smile was beautiful, and she had amazing voice too. I participated in singing competition at my school anniversary to impress her. But i got only prize, not her attention.

CHAPTER 2 - CLEANING HER DESK

As i studied in a government school, that time they didn't had any attenders in our school, myself and my friend Naveen are the most popular boys in our school for various reasons. If any guests arrived or if there are any teachers meeting, or if any of my teacher wanted to drink some coffee in their free time, they used to call us both for getting them what they needed from a nearby hotel. We both used to go for two reasons, one to miss the irritating class and two, sometimes if any guest said NO to a coffee, we get to drink that.

The school routine was one week boys will clean class rooms and the school premises and one week girls, it was a bit fun though. When cleaning the classrooms, I used to clean her desk with extra care, and asked my friends to clean remaining desk. I liked cleaning her desk.

                                                     CHAPTER 3 - LOVE LETTER

This was one hell of a day. some of my friends came to know about the crush I had on her and they tried to help me by giving some stupid ideas. That time we got the new Landline phone in my home, there was no mobile then, and my friend Dayananda gave me an idea on how to give my landline number to her. I asked the History notes from her, and while returning the notes, I wrote my number in a page. But she never called. when I was struggling to tell what I feel about her, then this guy Waseem my another friend gave me this brilliant idea of writing a love letter. I said impossible, but he convinced me later, and told that he will write the letter and all I have to do is to give the letter to her.

His Kannada was so horrible than his hand writing, god knows why I trusted him on this matter. He finished letter in a small piece of paper (like the one we use to write copy chits in exams) with 3 lines of a poetry (I really don't remember what he wrote) and told me to give her. He motivated me by saying " Nothing will happen, just go and give it to her".

I still remember that day when I went to give the letter to her, she was cleaning a class room and she had a broom in her hand. I was little worried and afraid, just imagine a girl with broom in her hand and you went to give love letter to her, then you can understand my situation. I just called her name and gave the letter, I left the room in a hurry without looking back.

                                                      CHAPTER 4 - THE WARNING

After the love letter incident, she stopped talking to me, I tried a lot but she ignored. I asked the poet who wrote the love letter “are you sure that what you wrote in that letter is a poetry?" he said YES with confident and told "she might be feeling shy to talk to you". And again, I believed him.

One fine afternoon, I came back to school after finishing my lunch and entered the class room, she was sitting alone and writing some notes. I was really afraid to sit inside so I came out and sat on the steps. After some time, she came out and called me and my response was just " ha ". She asked who wrote the letter? After thinking for a sec, I said it was me. She smiled, I thought everything is fine and maybe she wanted to talk about the poetry, but she told something which I never forget.

She said " First you learn how to write Kannada(Language) and then love me, moreover you are not grown enough to love someone" and she left.

At that moment only thing running in my mind was " saale waseeeeeem"

                                                      CHAPTER 5 - THE PROMISE

We used to have evening school once in a month, on that day the Principal organised some cultural activities and quiz. I was sitting alone in the back when everyone was busy in singing any answering the quiz, then she came and sat next to me. She started to talk to me after two months, and asked me why I am not participated in singing, I said I will sing next.

Then she told the same lines " I will tell you something but you should not tell to anyone, especially to your friends." Then i said " yes i promise". When she was about to tell something, her sister came to take her home and she left the room without telling anything. I hated her sister a lot for that.

After that I never a got a chance to talk to her as our exams got finished and we are all got separated and joined different school. Even after changing the school I used to roam near her house in a cycle everyday so that I can see her. But my bad luck, they shifted to a new home and I didn't had any idea where was that. Later I stopped looking for her and started to concentrate on studies.

After 9 years, in the year 2009 I saw her in a railway station, she was changed a lot but i was able to recognise her.  I went and said "hi", she seemed so excited to see me and we spoke for some 20 mins. Then I asked her whether she remember the love letter and promise, but her answer was mind blowing.

" Do you still remember all those, my god it was so funny and entertaining ". Then I left the place.

By now, may be she got married but still I don't know what she was about to tell on that evening..

"SEX, MURDER AND A TREE"

Credit: Dr. James Fixton. University of Melbourne, Australia Thank you Dr. James for your valuable inputs and helping me in completing the scientific part of the story. Thank you for spending your valuable time for giving what I wanted, and sorry for troubling you with so many late night emails and phone calls. As I used to say always " YOU ARE THE BEST". Early one morning in a deserted area outside of Goa, a tourist discovered the body of a young women. She had been beaten, bound, strangled, and possibly raped. The surrounding plants would tell more about the killer than any other single piece of evidence. The evidence which Maya produced in front of the judge, made entire court room went crazy, including the killer.  No matter how intelligent or successful Maya is, but when it comes to vacation, she is unlucky. She had a vodka and lying under sunlight on the beach applying body lotion, she left her mobile, satellite phone at her apartment and right now she

44 STAB WOUNDS, 65 BEHAVIOURS

In the middle of the night, a neighbour watched in horror as a man stabbed his wife, pushed her into the swimming pool, and held her head under water. When questioned by the police, the husband not only had no explanation for his actions, he also had no recollection of the crime. Now Maya has to decide between the forensic evidence at the scene or the mysteries of the mind. On a brisk January night in Mumbai, a man heard some noises coming from his neighbour's backyard. He actually heard some moaning sound coming from over the fence he thought that perhaps the couples were making love because that's what the sound sounded like to him. He saw Hannah Benson on the ground and her husband Jeff Benson was in the house upstairs changing his clothes. Jeff came back downstairs silenced the dog walked outside to Hannah then threw her into the swimming pool and held her head underwater. The neighbour Immediately called the police. The police found Hannah floating in the pool, she

THE SECOND MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN AFTER MY MOM

By looking at the title, I know most of you think that I am going to write about my girlfriend, but I am not. This article is about my 7th Std teacher P VASANTHA LAKSHMI ( PVL) whom I considered as the second most beautiful women after my mom. She was the most strict teacher in my school, but still she was my favourite for various reasons. She used to handle Mathematics classes, for me maths is like a nightmare, and still i hate maths. Normal multiplication, addition, subtraction and division we use in our daily life, but where do you use Algebra, Trigonometry, integration and differentiation? If its not useful in our daily life, then why to learn them, one more reason to hate maths is, I was so poor with that. But still I used to wait for the maths class, so that  I can see my favourite teacher for 40 mins, when she entered the class, while welcoming her by saying " Goooood morning teacher" my face was full bright and smiling. I never paid attention towards her class,
